JOHN MARK BEATON, General Secretary of AASSREC (Association of Asian Social Science Research Councils) passed away 6 November at the age of 74. Dr. Beaton Was a member of Academy of the Social Sciences in Ausralia (ASSA) and General Secretary of AASSRECsince 2008.
