The committee seeks to make efforts geared to clarify methodological logic of the social research, increase the precision of arbitration methods in the social science, and raise epistemological credibility (such as data validity/reliability)  of knowledge as produced within the framework of social sciences in Iran. In addition, it is one other overall orientation of the committee to strive to institutionalize pluralism in epistemology and methodology within the social science. All faculty members, specialists, and those having an interest in the area of methodology and research methods in social sciences are invited to assist us, through their membership and cooperation, in reaching the following goals
