Industrial Sociology

The developing nations have been preoccupied with industry and industrialization. Iran began its industrialization two decades prior to that of Fee Jee Japan, by Premier Amir Kabir during the reign of the Qajar dynasty. The Committee on Industrial Sociology seeks to conduct research aimed at studying problems and historical obstacles of industrialization. Moreover, we invite all researchers in this area to help us in removing the industrial constraints and in reaching the following goals.

Objectives of the Committee on Industrial Sociology
  • Promoting interdisciplinary perspectives on industrial culture
  • Conducting comparative analysis, using data from Iran vis-à-vis any of the Asian Tigers including Malaysia
  • Expansion of relations among sociologists and specialists on the industry and factory
  • Conducting research, carrying out evaluations, and offering consultation
